Curriculum
ICAST curriculum is a robust combination of relevant school subjects, creativity, pragmatic/systematic approach and extracurricular activities tailored at discovering and exploring the potentials of every child in order to encourage independent development, a high level thinking and optimal teacher-learner interaction. The curriculum is thus packaged to meet the social, economic, political and scientific needs of Nigeria.

School Profile
International college of Arts, Science and Technology Nursery, Primary and Secondary (ICAST) is God inspired dream project of Mrs. Joyce Tamunobelema Sanusi . The ultimate motivation for its establishment is to discover ,improve ,process and sustain the gifts ,talent’s ,and precious skills in children with a view to making them suitable to meet the nations in the areas of art science and humanities .More importantly ,there is heightened focus on the teaching and learning of basic sciences ,with practical demonstration ,to learners to build in them a strong science foundation for better future performance .
The school aims at achieving this laudable objective by placing emphasis on talent discovery, rigorous pursuance of identified talents by dedicated teachers and following up the procedures to the point of actual achievement of goals. This conforms to the Motto: Discovery, pursuance, and Achievement of set Goals.
The Nursery and primary arms of the school began in September 2003 at No.8 Holiness Avenue, Opposite Chuks Plaza, off NTA Road, Mgbuoba, Port Harcourt. These were the only arms of the school until September 2010 when the school moved to its permanent site located at No.10 Farm Road (behind Mgbuoba Market) Mgbuoba, Port Harcourt.
The secondary arm of education in ICAST kicked off on 22nd September 2021 at Cornerstone Street off NTA Road, Ozuoba, Port Hacourt. In tandem with the ICAST’S standards and thoroughness, the arm was begun with JSS 1 and JSS2 classes.
In ICAST, dedicated, experienced, cheerful, current, morally upright, trained, and reasonably motivated teachers and staff are not in short supply. ICAST is a legally registered school with the Cooperate Affairs Commission in Rivers State. It also holds the NAPPS membership. ICAST is a coeducational, day school which operates on both the state and federal Government approved curriculums.
